Having a father figure go "i don't care what you do just as long as it makes you happy" without a big dumb arc or a big blowup from the father's pov is kind of nice when so much of media makes a big joke out of that kind of thing.

Kind of wild how toxic a lot of the friends and family on various TV shows are but you get DS9 and it seems like Jake and Sisko are kind of the ideal non-toxic father son dynamic.

Sure they have disagreements or arguments but you get the overall sense that Sisko just wants what's best for Jake.

Watching Ds9 again has been a roller coaster of "ha ha this is great!", "There is so much gay in this show", and stunned silence about how much the issues still apply today because we backslid due to shitty reactionaries.

Show still holds up amazingly well even in the early seasons.

Brink has good ideas but couldn't really be bothered to have a story just lore. It also had wonky ttk which made the whole game feel awful to secure kills on.

Diakata because despite it having serious issues there is actually an interesting game in the later episodes.

so what we’ve learned here is that fetura’s products (plus furrjoi’s, all of their other side brands, and likely smitizen’s as well) are not safety tested at all

read this post. One of the accounting fuck fuck games in AI is fiddling the depreciation. The Nvidia cards die in 12-18mo. Amazon, Meta, Google all depreciating at 4-6 *years*. This makes *huge* difference in earnings per share.
