Today so far: gold told off by my Big Issue vendor for not wearing a coat in the cold weather, survived a lot of argy bargy in the Diwali aisle at Sainsbury’s, bought vegan mince pies, got stuck behind a convoy of the Sikh Motorbike Club on my way home.

Wouldn’t have it any other way.
