Hey, sci-fi and fantasy folks, if you happen to know folks who are involved with various estates in the field, do tip them a hat about the Anthropic settlement. Agencies do not get $ out of the deal and may not remember to talk to estate clients. My agent was worrying about estates not being alerted

Kid is skilled and dedicated to his craft. Him, and I'm shamefully forgetting the actor who played Roose Bolton, and is Porter in this show. Also utterly superb. So much so you genuinely forget he's "acting" as Porter. His performance grounds that show when he's in it so much.

Jackie Gleeson is just awesome in HoG. I'm glad that guy's back acting so long as he's enjoying it and having a blast.

Guillermo del Toro, Netflix, and Gobelins have teamed to open a stop-motion studio in Paris. The endeavor shares a kindred spirit with Mexico's El Taller del Chucho, also co-founded by del Toro, and will honor stop-motion legend Mark Gustafson.

Another book signing and event today - went great, more comments about needing to do a nerdy mythology, storytelling, and trope podcast.

Like, every day someone on some social media is posting the equivalent of: you see this shit, Applejack?!

Financial experts: the US might be heading toward...a depression

Me, ahead of my time: inhales: fuckers, I've been depressed for thirty years. :takes long drag of imaginary cigarette -- don't smoke kids --: I'm not new to this shit. Get in, losers, I'll drive the bus.

But, seriously though-

Which reminds me, all my books (for the most part) are on @bookshop.org and it's my preferred place for purchase (if you can't order it locally--and even then, you can do it through Bookshop!).

Checked out the list of banned books and Allegiant, Carve the Mark, and The End & Other Beginnings are on there (way, way down), which is kind of a weird assortment of my books. Why those and not the others? Unclear.

Anyway, have a look: pen.org/banned-books...
