Not that I can run it on my PC anyway, but I dearly hope there is a mod that restores the original models. I'd take dated polygons over this any day.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

I generally prefer PS1 just cause I'm more familiar with emulating that, and Saturn might still be difficult to emulate? But I'm guessing things have improved since.

Tim Rogers said the Saturn version is apparently the better one. To what extent, I don't know.

I'm guessing the original intention was for players to manually keep track of important calendar dates on their own (since the original release on PC-E also lacks a calendar), which. Respectable. Even still, the simple QoL would be appreciated. 🥹

Zeta Gundam never mentioning the Argama's kitchen but making sure you know it has a vending machine for burgers and a coffee machine makes me laugh. Bright's diet for the last 6 months has been nothing but cheeseburgers and black coffee. his greatest daily enemy is not the Titans, but his colon.

In retrospect, I'm kind of baffled why that version even got fan translated when the PS1 port is so much better (AND has the calendar).

It's enough where I'm seriously considering just playing the PS1 version in JP.

I tried revisiting Tokimeki Memorial 1 this week.

Still a very good and enjoyable game, but I've grown increasingly aware of how lacking in QoL the SFC version is (that one that got fan translated). Can't fast forward text, can't even review the calendar like you can in later versions. I'm 😭
