most effective way to monetize access to alternate timelines would probably be their cultural content. movies, books, etc. raw materials are hard to transport, bur content easy to get back to your timeline and it's not like copyright law applies across quantum probabilities.

did you know: lye lychen has never done anything wrong in his life and frankly all those people aterika’kaal killed had it coming #fattrewind #friendsatthetable
An illustration in the style of the poster for Little Shop of Horrors. Instead, the text says “Lyke’s Shop of Horrors” with vines of rosebuds winding around it. One large rose-monster with sharp teeth is about to bite down on Lye Lychen, at right. Lye wears high-waisted green pants with suspenders, a brown shirt with rolled up sleeves, a blue and white polka dot bandana, and vintage pilot goggles. He has angular features and sideburns (not dissimilar to Jack Rackham in Black Sails) and a messy bun. He’s examining a fishbowl with a goldfish (Tombo) in it.

a digital painting of Pearline, a young black woman, singing while standing on the stage on all fours. behind her there are musicians. portrait of Mary, a light skinned young woman with dark curly hair and white glowing eyes. she's smiling, showing her sharp teeth. she's covered in blood a landscape at dusk, with silhouettes of a small lone house, and two men riding horses silhouettes of twins, Smoke and Stack, looking at the setting sun

i generally dislike "STEM needs humanities" arguments but this is actually a case where it legitimately applies, albeit for not the reason you imagine

This commission statement refers to people with Autism, ADHD, asthma, auto-immune disease, and chronic illness as a “dire threat to the American people and our way of life”.

This is a manifesto against disability.

This is the language of eugenics.

i'm sure if we identify the demographic that bears singular responsibility for the situation we're in, they will begrudgingly use their awesome power to fix it

liberal christians genuinely cannot wrap their heads around the idea that people who fervently believe in jesus can do & want terrible things. it's a minor frustration in the scope of things, but also an astonishing ignorance of history and an unwitting embrace of hegemony

That is called a non sequitur. You said these folks are not following gods teachings. I noted that they are, just not the parts you agree with. Atheists have NOTHING to do with this.

Evangelicals follow the Bible, religiously. They are terrible because of the parts they choose to embrace. 🤷

if you live in a low density city the “my weekend as a 28 year old in chicago” video is actually aspirational. i would kill for the ability to go kayaking and have multiple options for marg towers

okay so there's these unsavory passages in the twenty-sixth chapter of the book of Proverbs that william blake did a familiar wildean sort of twist on, combining and inverting two of them into "the fool who persists in his folly will become wise." but then,

I was writing about combo decks in magic the gathering. In mtg jargon, playing against no one is called “goldfishing;” goldfishing is very relevant for combo decks and irrelevant for most others
