Fun fact: I had no idea who he was, but I spent a weekend in the Catskills with Roy Cohn.

For anyone in love with NJ brews, and I've tried a lot of them (coffee and beer are my only sources of water), Gusto Brewery in North Cape May remains up there with Kane (Ocean, NJ).

If you want an ESB, not going to find a better one than theirs.

it gets tiring to keep explaining what it means to be poor to people.

it is not that poor people don’t know that cooking is cheaper:

cooking costs time. it costs pots and pans. it costs a working stove and your utilities on. it costs you’ve been on your feet all day and your babies are tired.

Field testing tomorrow and Wednesday, two days blown for a trial run to try to set up some kind of validity to a future adaptive test.

Some not great news on a couple of fronts this week *but* the yeast never let me down....

10+ pounds of beach plums, 10+ pounds of cherries, 12 pounds of cherries, some yeast, and now magic.
