It won't be. Maybe they find one guy with a 'failed' suicide vest in a frogsuit. Maybe it's real, maybe it's a provocateur, maybe it's an AI lie; it doesn't matter. This would be catnip for infotainment machine.
This makes me much more nervous than masks or Black Bloc tactics. False flags and provocateurs are a real thing. It happened in Ferguson and various 2020 events.
This hides 98% of their identity and (more importantly?) fully obscures the imprint of their torso. What's in there... weapons? Personal body armor? Bandoleer of bearspray to hand out? Suicide vest? Or just a silly guy.
Do we want the jumpiest of cops and angriest of ICE agents guessing?
I call on Governor Abbott to immediately withdraw any support for this decision and refuse to coordinate. There is no reason a President should send military troops into a sovereign state without their knowledge, consent, or cooperation.
