3+ years with LC & it hasn't gotten any better, in fact, there's days when it feels worse.

I no longer care what the forecast shows, no indoor dining out, no concerts, no large gatherings indoor or out, we mask up...period.

This is life now. Cheerful huh?
But we manage to make the best of it.😷

The administration has canceled 45 RECOVER #LongCOVID grants. These grants examined pathology, & were vital to understanding infection-associated chronic illness as a whole.

Update on Long COVID research funding: Per researcher and advocate @themegascope.bsky.social, funding for at least 45 different RECOVER studies have been terminated.

RECOVER is a $1.7 billion program that serves as the single largest federal funding mechanism for long COVID research.

Refused to tune in, I knew we'd get the lowdown later in the news. Even now, I'll watch for the anything that I need to know then switch over to Jeopardy or some other game. Or turn the TV off all together.
