If I get the chance to play more fully with it, I'll tell more about that. It also make spell-triggered abilities more reliable (Sustaining Steel...) And the class *still* needs some stuff (like when you're out of spells you lack a lot of options) to address issues but this lifts a big weight.

Stuff like Sticky Fire, Briny Bolt, Threefold Limb, Acid Arrow etc become way more interresting for their rider effects (that were already good) as part of your plan up to your big spell.
You're also more free to use buffs and debuffs but still have a choice to make since you have 3 spells/fight

So like the reason why is that it removes the pressure of conserving spellslots, which is especially harsh on Magus. WHILE conserving the identity of being burst focused, just that your burst is 3 or 4 rounds of casting spells where a full caster can go forever.
Gives lower damage spells more value
