i have some fond memories of spending afternoons and evenings at that cidery with partners, friends, and family over the years. they had a trivia night, we brought tabletop games, there was a dog!… basically, it just makes me feel warm fuzzies. love that.

finding a cidery within a reasonable distance of home that is also open on weekdays (because of our weekend work schedules) is... tricky.

i'm glad i made some use of the cidery that was relatively near my old place while i was living there!

why does MyChart seem to only do the browser compatibility check *sometimes*?

i was almost late to my appointment because MyChart didn't switch to Teladoc Health Patient as expected like it did for other recent appointments (different providers), but went to the broswer check.

so odd and bad UX.

texting my d a d after not hearing from him for a few months. one of the hockey teams he follows is playing the Flyers. i sent him a Gritty GIF; he laughed and tried to dunk on it.

we'll see how far this goes. he has slowed down replies. i have to wonder if he's hiding texting me from his wife. 🙃
