Tini (sorta) speedruns through Heavensward...

It's been a while since I've played through HW, but I love this campfire scene. Throughout this road trip, Tini wanted to strangle both Ysayle and Estinien. But she's glad to see these two try to understand each other.

Today is my wedding anniversary. I've been married 29 years. But I don't feel any joy. I'm just tired.

Hubby and Younger Daughter were supposed to be camping today. Hubby 'forgot'. But he canceled it because of her poor grades. So they're here and...well, misery loves company.

I'm sick and tired.

Tini is a minimum height Lalafell, which puts her around 2'6 (76 cm) on the height scale.

As a warrior main, this looks hilarious during the WAR quests with the big Roegadyn guys. 😆😆😆 She KNOWS she's tiny, but she doesn't care. She lets her axe do the talking.

Etienne and Gray are max height Elezen, which puts them at about 7 feet tall (2.11 m). Etienne is with his Xaela wife ( @shinjira.bsky.social's Bess), who is min height here.

Funnily enough, Etienne has been in MULTIPLE dungeons where the other three are lalafells. It's a running joke now for him.😆

Technically, Morroyo is semi-retired at the end of Endwalker. But he will always travel, teach and stay active with new generations of arcanists at the guild. If a new threat comes up, he'll answer the call for help. With enthusiasm.

That being said, they'll remind him he's not young anymore. 😆

Morroyo grew up in the Sagolii Desert with the M tribe. They did a lot of hunting. Some meat, vegetables, lots of hearty stews over the campfire.

Lewin grew up in Gridania, some meat but not a lot. He had a lot of Mun Tuy Beans as a child and he can't stand them now, even when he comes back home.

how was it influenced by their culture / location / family's wealth, etc.? is their palate mostly the same now as it was then?

and i have to ask, did they eat their vegetables?

Morroyo can eat a lot of a food if he really likes it. He can easily eat maybe 6-7 tacos with meat, cheese, veggies and sauce.

If it's plain, Lewin can probably eat 3-4. If you put hot sauce on it...maybe 1. He doesn't do well with spice (like Zero's curry 😆).

Tini would eat the whole lot. 🤣

Morroyo's a combination of both. It depends on whether he's being 'professional' (diplomat, teacher) or 'personal' (Cat Dad mode).

He can be pretty spontaneous when it comes to travel and personal business. When he's formally dealing with people, he's more calculating, analyzing the other person.

Lewin has to deal with his desire to heal people and the rage and need for revenge for injustice to himself and others.

He has a lot of issues to sort through. Now he has friends and loved ones to help. But he still has a bit of a split personality with himself and his DRK persona.

Lewin is bewildered that the WHM crystal chose HIM of all people.

/2 ...it had been the dreaded Creeping Death, which had once ravaged Gridania and only affected Hyurs. If he'd been born a generation or two earlier, he most likely would have died because they didn't have a proper cure then.

It was one reason why he considered switching to conjury earlier.

/1 Morroyo's been relatively healthy all his life, but having Light Sickness on the First nearly killed him. It changed his eye colour from dark orange to golden yellow. He's been Light sensitive ever since.

Lewin was very sick when he was a boy, but was cured by conjury. He later found out...

Sha'dow survived the Spellplague. Nearly killed them. But they also survived Phyrexian ⤵️

Morroyo was isakai'ed from another game (He was originally in Star Wars the Old Republic). He is a Cat Man in that game, so...Cat Man in FFXIV.

Tini (FFXIV original) started as a self-insert, but short Lala (well, shorter than me IRL). She evolved into her own personality: me with no filters. 😆
