One of the biggest problems in German politics is that this country is constantly being governed by people who grew up in villages.
It’s mostly the right wing CDU, but Germany has an urbanisation index of 77 per cent and most politicians here grew up in the equivalent of the outback

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

You could get a fire stick for 1/4 the price, but at 1/10 the features and ease of use.
Either way, I’m glad they seem to be keeping both the streaming service with all the pristine shows watched by 47 people as well as what I consider to be the best tv accessory

I mean, I love my Apple TV (the box). The chip is so delightfully overpowered that it’s a super smooth experience. The main touch Point of the remote just feels incredible and the curves are the same angle they are on the iPhone. Very overdesigned, but comes together nicely.

To be fair, Apple TV Plus is a bit of a mouthful and I don’t think I’ve ever said it.
Maybe most people just say Apple TV.
Rebrand for the box makes sense, particularly with a faster chip that could match lower end consoles.
