An inspiring night listening to community leaders who are working to transform their dangerous streets into welcoming thriving places! Thank you to everyone who made it possible. And thank you to everyone who came — it was a great turnout.

Change is possible. E Marginal Way before/after. Thanks to 12 years of advocacy from West Seattle Bike Connections, West Seattleites now have a safe and family-friendly trail from the West Seattle low bridge to downtown! It was a massive rebuild of the street to better support large trucks 🚚🤝🚲
before, busy street with trucks and cars all over the roads and skinny paint only bike lane. no sidewalk seperated trail from roadway with truck on the street

It's a rainy weekday in October and Pike Place is as busy as any sunny summer weekend. I think the disappearance of non-essential car traffic is a huge help. This setup should be made permanent.

Great news: Sales at Pike Place Market were up 7.5% in August too! That's three months of solid data showing the pedestrianization pilot is good for business.

Last Friday, we hosted a celebration ride in the new Beacon Hill bike lanes.

10 years of grassroots organizing = real urban transformation.

Big thanks to @seattledot.bsky.social and every neighbor who refused to give up.

Together, we can build safer, more accessible streets for everyone.
