Which is probably why I'm sure the one I posted a few weeks ago is linked to a game show or a comedy show...

Yep. I love it, but still think adding singing was an odd choice.

I was veering towards muzak at the time, then veered away. Step too far, even for me...

I have a whole album of easy listen beatles arrangements. Seemed a funny / good idea at the time, but I've never managed to listen to it.

Forgot how much fun it was trying to listen to stuff when the dog has a new squeaky toy...

On Oct. 11, 1979, the first episode of the revival of The Littlest Hobo debuted on CTV. Based off a 1958 movie and 1960s TV show, it aired for six seasons and 114 episodes.
With its famous theme song, it is beloved by generations of Canadians.
This is the story.

🧵 1/11
A collage featuring the title "The Littlest Hobo" in bold yellow letters, with four images of a German Shepherd dog: one sitting at a desk with papers, one standing near trees, one near a brick wall, and one in a natural outdoor setting with greenery, all set against a black background.

It's a bit exotica I think.

I'm going to push the boundary slightly into exotica but I think it fits

Hooray! Someone posted it! I would have gone with either this version, or Martin Denny's for my exotica choice.

Now, there is something unsettling about the background music that I really like.

Slow Frank is Best Frank, in my opinion...

So evocative of a time and place that I was never there, and don't remember, but the music tells me how to feel.
