I love selkies. I once saw an archaeologist give a talk saying that early people from Scandinavia travelled in sea kayaks, and used a wet skirt of sealskin to stop water getting into the kayak. Without it they could not have done long sea journeys.

I mean, people get PTSD from a single car accident. Never mind two years of bombs dropping on your head and half the people you know dying.

Just finished watching Dahmer and it was insane how much police were warned, but because it was by a black woman, and his victims were young men of color, they ignored it.

Then some white boy calls in against a young black woman, the cops show up immediately to arrest her

Ian Watkins’ ex girlfriend reports him multiple times to the police for what he was doing and they treated her as if she was hysterical in every sense of the word. Misogyny is dangerously and deadly, it played a huge role in those poor children’s torment. Hope he went roaring
