varies by state, but most jobs include at-will employment agreements that allow for termination w cause for expressing sentiments that the employer arbitrarily believes reflects poorly on them. Free speech applies in our capacity as citizens w respect to the government. It doesnt apply to employment

I see a lot of intellectual types who I normally agree with dunking on these incongruent responses but this is a super relevant datapoint about how messaging matters. Conservatives are way better than dems on messaging and especially better than many progressives, which is why they win
