In the state of PA if you are over the age of 18, your boss is not forced to give you a break or lunch no matter how many hours you work. I used to work 12+ hr shifts in a gas station and my breaks stopped the moment I turned 18. My boss would brag it was legal to do

I remember having a pulled sciatic nerve when I worked at GameStop and I had to sit through my shift and customers had some fucking reason to complain??

I'm not even allowed to sit behind the counter at work despite having cracked and missing cartilage and my knee randomly giving out
I still sit down sometimes, but only if my manager isn't there because i know my other coworkers sympathize with me for my injury.

I think half of the disabled population in the US that is currently unable to work would in fact be able to work if we were allowed to sit down as cashiers lmfao. Bc office jobs won't hire us and we CAN'T physically do entry level minimum wage jobs
