My friend Osama just lost his Bluesky acct, just as he discovered that he has kidney problems due to vitamin deficiency. His limbs are swollen and he is too weak to walk. The doctors said he is at 40% kidney function and needs a week of vit injections. He needs ~$75 a day for injections plus ~$75 1/

He said the treatment costs 1800 shekels for a week ($550 USD) or about $75 a day

I can’t get over how beyond despicable it is to detain street vendors, people that keep our streets vibrant and safer because of their presence. Street vendors are some of the most vulnerable and visible yet we are being told their detainment is to keep us safe. Ridiculous.

reports of people abducted from back of the yards, cicero, rogers park, hermosa, barrington, batavia, and bridgeview.

feds are out in force in aurora. not sharing video, but residents have likewise turned out in force—and they aren't happy.
