Everyone in this picture looks like they're posing for a totally separate photograph

In this photograph, from left to right, Charles stands in a very demure little close-footed arms behind back posture and has a glassy-eyed disconnected look on his slack-jawed faced. He isn't precisely smiling or frowning but his eyebrows look worried and though his mouth is drawn back to show teeth, no joy is transmitted. For some reason, a chair is in frame, about a third of the way between where the subjects and the photographer are standing and blocking almost his entire lower half.
Diana is dressed in a floor-length back dress and looks very glamorous and is low-key Kubrick-staring at the photographer.
Nancy "Hollywood's Original Throat GOAT" Reagan is standing in a white dress with complicated and sparkly surface texture that makes her look like if a marble column got turned by a witch into a fancy old white lady. Also oh my god I can't believe I didnt notice this before but she's standing perfectly straight up and down EXCEPT FOR her left foot which appears to be extended slightly in front of her center of gravity, and is resting askance on the floor, so that it contacts the ground only on the inner balls and interior side of her shoe. It can't possibly be supporting any weight so her entire weight is on her right leg inside the perfectly cylindrical skirt of her dress. She is also very slightly more center frame than Diana.

Anyway oh yeah and ol ron is standing off to the side like an Oaf. Feet shoulder width apart, knees locks, leaning slightly forward and his hands are at his sides but fall slightly away from his body . His entire silhouette strongly suggests a gorilla. He looks like he has no idea where he is or how he came to be there.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by ICE in Everett and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.
