In Broadview, IL this morning outside the Chicago area ICE detention center—

Just rolled up, immediately saw ISP/CCSO arresting a protester w/ a guitar (he appears to be in good spirits over it).

ICE vehicles have been coming and going, including a large bus driven by a masked agent seen earlier.

Same shit as in 2020. Calling everyone arrested a rioter or arsonist, meanwhile neither local nor federal cops could build a strong enough case to prosecute. Almost like the arrests aren’t meant to actually stop crime but to instill fear and reinforce power. Imagine that

This numbering system is reminiscent of that used in 2020 Portland. Officers may be numbered but good luck trying to find the document that assigns a name to them anytime soon.

In Portland, it took over nine months for that information to be released.
