As #Autumn arrives and #Shocktober creeps up, read my novella 'Apex' for a quick but brutal trip to the English countryside where something that shouldn't be there is lying in wait...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 'A great read!'
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 'Great little book'
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 'Wowser'

Word of mouth is important to a book's success. So, if you'd like to see the authors who wrote your favourite stories commissioned to write more, please keep talking about all the #books you love.

Just so you know
I felt the #undertone
Beneath your words
Though they were warm
Underneath them
Ran a river of ice
And I shivered
At your hate

Ever since I saw them
In the river
With their red bellies
And razor sharp teeth
The have always been
On my mind
Little hands flashing
In the water
Bringing terror

Honestly, it’s exhausting that people think Gazans should only ask for help to survive to eat, to stay alive but not to dream, to study, or to rebuild their lives. Wanting education, safety, and a future isn’t greed. It’s being human.

My verse novel Hekate has spent 3 weeks on the NYT bestseller list, but also it has been #1 and #2 on the Indie bestseller list because Indie bookstores and booksellers have championed the book so much. Words cannot express how much that means to me.
