did see one of the stars on one of the talk shows I watch while eating and she tried her best to give an anecdote about how “kooky” that guy is to work with but even the attempt at humanizing really only made it worse and made it sound like the guy is just fucking with everyone 24/7. what a “vibe.”

a couple weeks ago I watched the new Adam Conover special on YouTube, because it was there and I wasn’t paying attention, and it was both vaguely unfunny but also completely on-point for the one bit about how there is literally nothing in the world baseball fans like less than extra baseball.

still blows my mind they successfully rebooted Matlock without any corn pone, and with a weird metatextual hook to boot. I would have bet every dollar I have ever had and will ever have that the corn pone was completely load-bearing to that brand … and now it’s a show about city slickers???
