You come to me, on the day of my daughter's wedding...

Grits make me so sad and angry. Sandgry if you will.

The minute I see anyone mention love language I'm out 🚩

Also:
"Every girl on the apps has this thing about ‘love languages’ – it’s just gibberish, but if you don’t talk about it, people are like, ‘Oh you’re a red flag.’'

Are WOMEN responsible for this, because all I see is men saying their love language is physical touch, as if it's not clear that = sex

So hard 2 use brain 😫

I wonder how much electricity it took to get to "it was lovely to meet you"

Doomscrolling was making me anxious so I was looking at the discover tab to see what was going on elsewhere and I very much enjoyed reading the Jared Leto trending topic

Yes. I think two big triggers for me are stress and dehydration, and the treatments kinda solved both in a way. A few life things happened that caused stress so they came back but not as badly/frequently as before

I don't quite know where I got it from, just that it's taken a week off of me! I was masking until quite late, I think I stopped when I moved back a year ago

I don't know if you can call something underrated under a photo of a clearly extremely busy street which implies it is very popular and thus, if anything, *rated*
Photo of crowded pedestrian area above the headline: "Underrated" UK town with "prettiest high street" is perfect for a day trip

I thought vegan referred to the contents of the thing, not the testing of it. I would have thought that would be more ethical, not vegan. But you learn something every day

I googled and apparently some tampons are tested on animals, hence not vegan

I have heard good things about microdosing but it's not legal in many places so understandably difficult to access. I wouldn't know where to start!

The Body Keeps the Score is genuinely phenomenal and eye-opening, and I kinda feel like everyone should read it at least once in their life

Ha!! You know what, I hate myself for that 😆

Last year was a bit of a journey. I spent months obsessively watching documentaries, reading studies and books about trauma, psychedelics and ketamine before I contacted anyone about treatment. Here's a list of the books I read:
The Body Keeps the Score - Bessel van der Kolk
The Ketamine Papers - Phil Wolfson & Glenn Hartelius
Psychedelic Psychotherapy - R. Coleman
How To Change Your Mind - Michael Pollan
This Is Your Mind On Plants - Michael Pollan
The Psychedelic Explorer's Guide - James Fadiman
A Really Good Day - Ayelet Waldman

If I had any influence or hope at all for progress in this area it would be that we legalise drugs that we *have already studied* and *already know* can help people. So many studies and breakthroughs happened *decades ago* but they were stopped, hidden and written off as part of the war on drugs.

I realise some of you may have seen me post this multiple times but I do think from the responses I've had (mostly "wow I had no idea ketamine could be used for this!") that it's worth repromoting. Because I think people who are suffering need to know that there are other options and there is hope ❤️
