Autistic joy is radical.

Because it’s not about success or normalcy.

It’s about existing without shame.

It’s about your bodymind feeling safe enough to be loud, quiet, or still.

Embrace it 💙

Autistic decision-making isn’t just mental.

It’s sensory.

It’s relational.

It’s embodied.

Every option is a whole landscape we feel in our bodies - and sometimes, that’s too much to walk through alone.

We need support.

Autism as a label didn’t emerge in a vacuum.

It was classified inside a system obsessed with purity - where “normal” meant white, Aryan, productive, obedient.

Eugenics wasn’t a hiccup of history - it’s the raison d’etre.

Autistic people have always been at the center of white supremacy’s ire.

I wake up.
I go to Jean and ask: “Do we have any Tylenol? I’m not feeling as autistic today. Need to re-up”

Autism stereotypes are everywhere, online, in politics, even in activism.
If you’re kind, empathetic, progressive "that’s so autistic.”
If you’re cruel, selfish, or just don’t fit the narrative, suddenly, “you can’t be autistic.”
That’s not understanding. That’s branding. 1/4

Still love that there's a reductress style publication aimed toward autistic people, I love these goofy articles and now for once there's an article that isn't a direct shot at my autistic ass 😂

She goes from “I really don't care, do u?” to phone calls with Putin. While her parents care for her son on the Spectrum, her husband is responsible for hundreds of thousands suffering.

Too bad they don't start with their Autistic son, because that may actually lead them on a path to empathy.

Autistic truth makes people uncomfortable because it’s not performative.

We name what’s broken without decorating it.

It’s not rudeness.

It’s clarity.

And clarity is sacred.
