Well, my kid is finally transitioning away from nap time. Preschool said naps weren't happening for the last week or so, and if they did, they were brief. So now we've changed to the non-nappers after lunch.

Not totally surprised. I saw people since COVID just give up on home ownership which means debt doesn't matter to them. So they've been overspending and racking up the debt.

Fun times ahead... everyone is going to be miserable, divorced and unable to retire

Karen Bass and the LA City Council voted 8-5 to formally oppose SB79 that would allow apartment builds to be up to 6 stories and have more zoning freedom.

Why? They said it'll cost more in taxes to BUILD MORE HOUSES? They think we're stupid.

The Rock Band DLC saga continues.

After making a haphazard announcement about RB4 dlc being delisted last week, they turned around and said "in the coming months" for older dlc.

And then tonight they confirmed it's all DLC ever released in the month in October now.

This is embarrassing.

The reason I've been told DCA never closes at the same time as Disneyland is for crowding reasons, dumping two parks out at the same time would be hell.

So I'm not surprised that even testing the waters with this, to save a buck, caused huge headaches.

Glad to see Disneyland is reverting closing back an hour earlier.
It was causing MAJOR congestion when DCA closed. Instead of spacing it out with the crowds leaving World of Color, it shoved them ALL into that same 9PM timeslot and was just making a mess everywhere.

It's ironic, actually...
