IIRC this is an old "controversy" where the HPV shot would somehow make women more promiscuous. (It's crazy) But it got play in GOP states but a funny thing happened with TX & then gov Perry. He sided with "big pharma", apparently a donor, & kept the vax. TX cervical cancer rate dropped ever since.

When prices were going up under Biden there was a constant deluge of news stories about it because the media did not like Biden and wanted him to lose. Under Trump there is not a constant deluge of news stories about coffee prices because they like Trump and want him to win

I dunno about this. Beyond the effects on folks in Ottawa, that the civil case you mentioned might cover/get redress, this was a direct attack on our democracy & rule of law. It contributed to the atmosphere that led to Coutts & damaged our int'l trade. Not enough deterrence & denunciation I feel.
