This is an important piece explaining, among other things, how private equity is behind "surprise" medical bills. (The worst kind of surprise.)

Solipsistic Repubs only care about things that happen to *them*, making this problem impossible to solve bc this isn't happening to everyone at all times.

I remember buying the first Submariner comic book! They were 10¢ when I started reading them. Then 12¢. The weekend ones were a larger 25¢. That was around 1967? Then around 1970 they were not worth buying anymore because they were all a quarter but still the same size as the 12¢ ones!!! Quality?
