🚗 turning right from a side street won't see them as they're not looking in that direction. 🚶no probs. 🚲 avg spd 16kph. But many 🛵 have top spd 30kph, & they're supposed to ride against traffic? Shd ride WITH traffic, like 🚲, & use BLs too! 30kph #cycling

We'll see what happens, but given the dominion the mayor has over city streets — as opposed to state-controlled things like bus fares and taxing millionaires — @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social has the potential to be a transformative mayor, a la Anne Hidalgo, when it comes to safety and livability.

After all the delays & bullshit we went through with Bondfield during the construction of the new wing at Cambridge Memorial, we got a mention in the CBC article in the skeet below.
When Bondfield went belly up, Ellis-Don took over the project that FINALLY opened in Jan 2025.
