Dems floated a narrow bill to fund the military, which can’t move because the House isn’t in session. Meanwhile, DoD is now going to spend funds not appropriated by Congress to ensure military paychecks continue.

The Office of Management and Budget sent a notification to Congress about their intent to use research and development funds to pay members of the military, two sources with direct knowledge tell NBC News.
A spokesperson for the OMB confirmed to NBC
News that it plans to use the research and development funds and that there are two years' worth of funds available within the Department of Defense.

Healthcare, rent/ mortgage, car payments, school loans, phone plans…you know the things most adult children should be able to handle on their own. I don’t know if she’s a grandmother yet, but if she’s worried about them eating/their health, that’ll create a change in her fast as well.

My friends and I have been to every rally. Made new signs and waved our 🇺🇸 flags for each one, too. I can’t tell you how uplifting it is, how empowering it feels to go. Surrounded by fellow Americans- young, old, with walkers, in wheelchairs- ALL who love their country. JUST GO! Stay Peaceful. 🇺🇸❤️

I will be participating in a No Kings event on October 18th. I didn’t even know who George Soros was until trump started talking about him. I have not broken any laws and I am not being paid. I am going because I love my country and I’m broken hearted to see what’s happening.
