My Samsung TV has been trying to force an AI update on us all year that we’re not allowed to reject. For my kids, clicking “not now” on the update is just as much of turning on the TV as pushing the power button.

A man in orange and wrapped in a American Flag got the attention of Cook County Sheriff’s police to ask if they’ll enforce the 6:00 protest curfew, the officer in command said only if Broadview police try to enforce it.

After some speeches about non-violent revolution and resistance from state repression, the program outside Beach Street is over and people are packing up. (Note, I got here only recently so presumably they’ve been here longer)
