This is what @sifill.bsky.social doesn't see: people like this one aren't asking for ceasefire or for an end to war in gaza - they are expressing their visceral hatred of Israel and desire for genocide of Israelis. Note the reference to "identity politics", which is what racists call "civil rights"

AIPAC is one of many lobbies that try to influence US policy. For example, the US AG worked as a lobbyist for Qatar. AIPAC is not some all powerful Jewish plot.

When Professor Rickford announced he was exhilarated by 10/7, "anti-colonial" academics lied & said Jewish refugees in Israel were mostly bankers, or denied the existence of Mizrahi Israelis, or grossly inflated stories of AIPACs influence, that was anti-semitism.

Nobody was censured for calling for a ceasefire - as Biden and Harris both did. I'm highly critical of Biden's policy on that war but he not only called for a ceasefire, he forced ceasefire on Israel.

Your argument is not on point. It should be very easy to oppose actions of Israel without being anti-semitic, but in practice it seems too hard a task for many people, including the "anti-colonial/anti-zionist" academics.
