I was on TV quite a bit today talking about the release of the hostages (undeniably moving) and the "peace" conference (less moving). It's wildly premature (and incautious) to declare "peace in the middle east." It's a noble goal, but even with the ceasefire, the underlying problems remain the same

This is such a flagrant violation of every principle of international law and sovereignty that it’s hard to actually believe even when we definitively know it is true (and even when it is consistent with all other behaviours).
