I'm wondering if maybe Jim got it back and there hasn't been a formal announcement. Right now, Mark Waid is writing the new History of the DC Universe, and folks have noted how Milestone is included but Wildstorm isn't. Maybe they finally gave up

I don't think they consider Whilce a founder anymore. Like, yeah, he went with them, but he didn't put anything out til years later. He's basically the Pete Best of the Image founders. His name has an asterisk next to it.
