They want you thinking about it year-round like the people in the Hunger Games
It’s also how pedophiles think.
Maybe each has a gateway to Hell in the basement from which tormenting demons nightly emerge . . . ?
I'm not seeing where he is still saying that after the election.
It's amplified in the Jackson movies, especially once you see that the other "races of men" fighting our heroes get visually coded as piratical Arabs and Turks. (Bad enough that all the good guys live in all-white cities and all the Maori actors are slathered in mud.)
And Trump's going to live in the expanded Bunker Beneath the Ballroom.
You've prompted me (and reminded me) to light my butterscotch and bourbon–scented candle. First candle of the season.

To me, he doesn’t sound at all like Obama.😬
It’s true, I wouldn’t want to live next to someone whose language is built on a foundation of stupidity and hate. So I guess I don’t want JD Vance in my neighborhood.
Vance says it is "totally reasonable and acceptable" for people to not want to live next door to people who speak a different language than they do
He imagines himself on the ISS orbiting the Earth, which seems OK from that distance
I used to tell my students, "We are a country that has always avoided a grown-up conversation."
😂 Ah, now the parable may be fully understood!
In this analogy, you're the drunk in charge of the boat . . . ? A passenger? The briefly visited island?
