In a rare win in Thai court 3 activists have successfully argued that their actions did not count as royal defamation & have been acquitted.

Court said that police evidence was insufficient & that simply taking part in protests could not be used as evidence of guilt in this case.

Throwback to one of my favorite landmarks to see when visiting Kuala Lumpur in 2023: the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, with a five-tiered, ornate gopuram (monumental entrance tower) in South Indian style. Dating back to 1873, it became an important place for early Indian immigrants in Kuala Lumpur.
