Diversity is our strength, no matter what racist, bigoted Republicans say.

Real Americans embrace diversity, equity and inclusion.

Real Americans reject Trump and his white nationalist cronies.

Trump is bad, project 2025 is bad and the people who love America, the real patriots reject both.

There is a very particular aggravation to needing a specific thing you can't find anywhere, and knowing *exactly* which shelf it would be on in JoAnn's.

I met people like me for the first time in my life, came to understand I was AuDHD and not just lazy, inept, & stupid as I’d always been told (still trying to excise how deeply I internalized that), made lifelong friends, and accidentally started a writing career because of social media.

that’s a very good reason to do so but also if you need a second one Wells Fargo let someone wash a check of mine, cash it for all the money in my checking account (which they only could have known if they had an employee on the inside) and then refused to extend me credit and stalled on reversing

want to close your Wells Fargo account because you want to punish them for siccing ICE on a building of impoverished immigrants that Wells Fargo execs wanted to foreclose and sell?

here's how
mamamurphy.bsky.social
Here’s how you can close your account:

Call 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557)
Visit a Wells Fargo branch near you.
You can close most accounts immediately when:

The account has a positive or zero balance.
All deposits, outstanding and pending items are posted.

Hey, @jay.bsky.team.

As a disabled person, it's disheartening to see one of the foundational pushers of alt text, a Black STEM voice, a queer advocate, and a huge voice for the disabled community gone over a poor taste joke.

Having Link here is good for so many people.

Please reconsider?

Sending troops from Texas to forcefully occupy and suppress cities in Illinois and Oregon IN OPPOSITION TO THOSE STATES' GOVERNORS is literally a civil war and it's cooking my brain that Democrats are simply pretending it isn't happening

UPDATE: Hegseth today called up 400 members of the Texas National Guard, with Gov. Abbott's apparent permission, to be deployed "where needed, including in the cities of Portland and Chicago." www.politico.com/news/2025/10...

Yeah. I don't usually cut down that road on my way toward the bridge in the morning, but I could see some fog from 47 and decided to make a stop. I thought the foliage would be a little farther along in color, but probably that's one of the few areas not absolutely bone-dry.

The judge's husband, Arnold Goodstein, "was airlifted after breaking multiple bones in his hips, legs and feet after escaping from the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home," according to the linked story.

He's 81 years old.

No indication yet from major media that the FBI has any interest whatsoever in investigating this apparent attempted assassination of a well-known judge openly targeted on social media by the far-right activist—Harmeet Dhillon—currently calling herself Assistant Attorney General of the United States
Beachfront home of South Carolina judge, ex-senator burned to ground, injuring 3
Ex-senator Arnold Goodstein, along with two additional people, were rescued by several neighbors and paramedics from a marshy, remote area behind the home after jumping from the fist floor.

I guess we should have taken "The South will rise again" both literally and seriously.
