Only the hostages remained. Israelis want them home and the war to end, putting pressure on the Israeli government to take the deal, not move the goalposts.

Roughly 70 Epidemic Intelligence Service officers — the so-called “disease detectives” who respond to outbreaks around the globe — received layoff notices, according to a person familiar with them. The service was spared during an earlier round of layoffs in February.

I will have to disagree, Max! Those cars are wonderful but the best one was the 1968 Shelby GT 500. I almost had to support the Christmas Adventurer’s Club. As a Detroiter, I clutched my chest when it came on screen. It was so pretty.
