Lil doodle cos we found out in our session the other day that Vervain is 1/4 dragon. Like, pact with a dragon in his distant ancestry? Nah. grandmas straight up an ancient bronze dragon. 👀

i always felt like painting on one layer is more helpful (to me personally at least), even if i start on multiple layers i merge them later because keeping them organized and searching for specific parts is such a pain and takes so long 😭 less thinking more painting 🙏

This is the single most important advice any creative person needs to hear.

There are of course factors such as financial insecurity or mental and physical impediments (spoons ≠ motivation even though people will tell you they are the same) but when you can, do, whether you feel inspired or not.

A big misconception is that you need to be motivated to get rolling.
You don't.
Research: Motivation often FOLLOWS action, not the other way around.
In Practice: You don't need to feel good to get going; you need to get going to give yourself a chance at feeling good.
