Books, cats, beer, ex-library staff, boomer, worried about...almost everything, I think. I have 11 delightful cats(they have me) and I read pretty much all the time. Please don’t DM me if we haven’t chatted beforehand.

This is so weird to me, I’m old. Big butts weren’t considered sexy when I was coming up, think Twiggy. I had a perfectly normal butt that I always thought was too big. The idea of making it bigger…fashions change, Iget it,once round rubenesque figures were sexy…

Finished Rose Field, Philip Pullman. Very good, somewhat confusing, I will probably need to reread at some point. Reading Hole In the Sky, Daniel H. Wilson. Very interesting, about halfway through.

Had a horrible episode of vestibular migraine (aka vertigo) yesterday. Room moving up and down like on a boat, no balance, hurling repeatedly, ugh, one of the nastiest. Big weather change, wondering if that were the trigger, nothing else out of the ordinary.

“Search history,” a poem (by me)

How to prepare duck breast
In the fall of democracy,
And protect overwintering bees
And immigrants.
De-icing your freezer
And town square,
And saying what you mean
To get a knee off your chest.

Six ways to make casserole
Without health insurance.

If you're angry at democrats for telling the military to refuse illegal orders, it's because you're issuing illegal orders.

That's it. That's the only reason.

I read a Wikipedia article about Epstein. Really knew little about him. It was surprisingly boring. I had wondered where he came from, how’d he get to be who he became. There wasn’t much there. Was his whole purpose just to fulfill a need a bunch of rich jerks had, or was he extremely charismatic?
