Demonstrating the benefits of a close relationship should be a no brainer … I only wish the likes of the constant critics recognised this.

Why do you think Brexit was what people wanted when the referendum was flawed?
180daysinspain.bsky.social
Clearly. So it’s time for change.

Was that correct? Why some EU citizens but not others?
180daysinspain.bsky.social
Do you think that was fair? Was the franchise correct?

Why didn’t you vote? Why didn’t they give you a vote?

There are lots of ways that people’s lives can be improved.

No, that’s incorrect.

The 90-in-180-day “rule” still applies for non-EU citizens with residency when in the other 28 Schengen countries that they are not a registered resident of.

Apart from for citizens of countries that have bilateral agreements like USA and New Zealand, etc.

That’s why we favour more liberal immigration rules.

We can assure you the 90-in-180-day problem is very much a problem for people that it affects.

Sometimes immigration policies are designed to keep people out and protect markets

…and other times immigration policies used to encourage immigration and stimulate the economy.

This is why our campaign exists. We want to encourage politicians to explore every possibility, perhaps until they realise that we joining the EU is a sensible thing to do.

I support rejoining the EU as soon as possible, by the fastest route possible.

But if that isn’t possible yet, then I want politicians to do everything in their power to make travel, trade and cross border living, working and studying easy again.

No, there are not.

There are only visas specific to individual countries.

You might be retired/disabled, studying managing a business overseas, have staff working for you, be trading or managing investments. You might organise events or tour groups.

The UK is one country for immigration purposes. The EU is not.

The EU isn’t one country is it?

If you spend two months in France, two months in Germany two months in Italy and two months in Portugal and four months in the UK where do you live?

We don’t hate the EU at all. We help people with lives in EU countries.
180daysinspain.bsky.social
Sadly it seems that way.

Millions of people depended on their rights as an EU citizen and trusted their government and the EU to maintain that social contract.

That’s not right and solutions must be found.
