Just a week left to join my Curio Coven in time to get this set!

ko-fi.com/astra_witch/...
I'll shorten it to "Tiny Time"
decided to start moving away from quarter-inch pixels, which is the standard size i've been using for the 13 years i've been doing these paintings.

here is one of my first pieces with half-centimeter pixels! also, shining force yay
it occurred to me today that i started my professional career prior to the release of nintendo ds.

i am so fucking old.
I would have already bought Yotei and/or Shadows at full MSRP if I wasn't wading through dozens of backlog games I bought for $10-$20 on clearance.
have you ever considered custom NES controller shells??
3 opinions:

1) the playstation portal is a real difference maker and i imagine i will play my ps5 exclusively with this device going forward

2) huskers aren't very good, and husker fans aren't very reasonaible

3) astro bot is an absolutely delightful game.

while it may not seem like it to someone scrolling by with a cursory look, what i am creating is not ‘ironic’ nor a ‘get rich quick scheme’ and it is certainly not AI GENERATED. it is a genuine expression of my heart and my beliefs about sexuality and art and love and freedom and curiosity and joy
I got mine used on Swappa.com for like 160.
i've got a substantial backlog of ps5 games mainly because i haven't wanted to play games in my office much this year. now i can play them in my living room and i think finally i might start breaking down that backlog.

i just wish it was dockable to a TV.
by comparison, astroboy uses ALL the non-standard characteristics of the dualsense and therefore works great on the portal. the screen is crisp - honestly at least from one room adjacent to my ps5, you'd never know the game wasn't running locally.
i got the portal yesterday, played about an hour of astro boy on the thing.

well, i kinda love it? i could do remote play on the steam deck before, but it always felt like anything that utilized the non-standard characteristics of the dualsense didn't work very well or at all.
well... I bought a PlayStation Portal.

what has my life become
have you heard the good news about little paintings? it is: "I made some"
someday i hope to learn what i did that was so cool
I played more than half of Metaphor Refantazio using Chiaki on my Steam Deck which honestly worked great but it completely neuters the Dualsense controller which is one of the main benefits of playing on PlayStation.
I'll let you know when it arrives!

I suspect creative control entered into that negotiation.
when do we get the version of twilight princess where blades will bleed and shields will shatter?
that's credits on DK94. what a fantastic game, glad to finally have played it.
donkey kong 94 is good

anyone played this
Basically every Rune Factory and Story of Seasons game is on sale right now. As someone who's never played either series (excluding a few hours with one on GameCube 20 years ago) but who LOVES Stardew.... Which is the one to pick up??

Anyone got a rec?
Definitely feel like my pace is slower this year, but....
28 movies
14 books
34 tv shows (ok, this shocked me.... really???)
23 video games

do you track rereads/replays/rewatches? as i've started including those, the numbers have gone up
