I think what makes this time of year feel underwhelming and not as special is because of those cunts that commercialise it and every TV ad, show, movie has these PERFECT Christmassds where it always snows and things are perfect and everyone is happy.

I crave for a Johnny Carson late night again, for over a decade now every single monologue on late night has been a party political broadcast, it's the same stuff on repeat, rolling year on year. Only Conan kept it neutral and light hearted, we need an escape to goofyness.
