This story was a big undertaking so we wanted it to have a big impact. That’s why we partnered with @globalreportingcentre.org accessing train data through their partnership with @cnsmd.bsky.social

And 🥁 tune into The National tonight because we also shared our work with CBC for this one

For campaigning on sovereignty and then giving ways our mineral and oil rights to foreign investers. Abandoning renewable subsidies for homeowners. Bill C5 which opens the door for Maga style immigration policies. Just to name a couple of issues.

I think it’s frankly ridiculous how easily you lie. Really.

You are the best at it!Everybody says so. Effortlessly…like breathing. Incredibly impressive!

I just got a money request in the mail from @mark-carney.bsky.social and I certainly won't be giving any money when he is supporting oil projects.

This is not the version of a green Canada that he lead us to believe would be in the future.

Alberta 'and' Canada. Strange thing to say. Isn't Alberta part of Canada, still?

4. More bad stuff
- lifting oil tanker ban (Coastal First Nations will not let that one go without a fight).
- Weakening industrial carbon price (now goes to $130/tonne rather than $170)
- New transmission lines between BC, AB & SK are for fossil fuel expansion rather than climate solutions

3. On the pipeline:
- it's a 1M bpd pipeline ON TOP of 3-400K bpd expansion of Trans Mountain
- the goal for CCS is make the oil being exported " best in class in terms of the average for heavy oil by 2050." That's a bar so low a worm can't fit under it

2. Pipeline MOU also:
- allows oil sands companies to use captured carbon to extract more oil (enhanced oil recovery), which previously wasn't allowed
- promotes expensive nuclear (i.e. keep using natural gas for 15 years) rather than cheaper, available-now wind and solar

1. This federal-Alberta pipeline MOU is even worse than I expected. Even before we get to the pipeline:
- exempts AB from net zero electricity reg (AB produces 44% of all electricity-related GHGs in Canada).
- delays methane reg by 5 years (75% redn by 2035 rather than 2030.

Trump really wants us to be North Korea: completely brainwashed into thinking we’re the best, no protests allowed, and his giant image everywhere. Complete control.

We ain’t NK. Or Russia. But we might be Hungary, if we don’t win this thing.

We will win.

I have been happy to have Elizabeth represent me in Ottawa. Unfortunately, the rest of the country has not voted for what is really in our best interests. Be it lack of education, lack of critical thinking, or falling into social media rabbit holes, the Green Party had fallen far behind to the lies.

I can't, in all good conscience, continue to support the federal Liberals. My money will now go to the Green party. EM is the only one who makes sense to me.

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.
