At my last job we had a technician that was very literal. You could show him a process and he'd write down every step. If he misses one or something changed you'd get a call at 10pm asking about it. "Hey I was going through the software install and I popped up a window at the end..."

I have one that insists on snugging against your chest when you go to bed so you can rub her belly for half an hour (or more) and the other one will come to the office while I'm working and insist that I hold her against my chest for a while. My lap or my desk are not acceptable, only my chest.
