Bernardo Silva set the tone for Manchester City yesterday in their previous 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield.

It was a superb captain's performance by Bernardo as his team followed his lead throughout yesterday's match.

Bernardo Silva set the tone for Manchester City at Anfield.
A familiar face set the tone for Manchester City against Liverpool. Bernardo Silva led from the front as City picked up a massive win.

This is what things will look like if Manchester City's rebuild comes together.

Pep Guardiola’s side are not the finished article yet, but you can see what they are trying to build as they chase down Arsenal.

With Rayan Ait-Nouri playing extremely well at left-back, Nico O'Reilly has moved into midfield and he played an important role in Manchester City's 2-1 win over Liverpool yesterday.

Nico O'Reilly played a vital role for Manchester City yesterday.
The emergence and growth of a young Manchester City midfielder caught the eye against Liverpool. Nico O'Reilly was brilliant in midfield.

This was my biggest issue yesterday. When the pressure came, Liverpool went 2 vs 2 at the back and we have to become better at making use of long balls in those situations and making opponents risks catch them out. Guardiola spoke about it in his press conference.

Huge momentum play by Alvarado who missed a 3 badly, snuck from behind on Brown for a steal and got a layup.

Then proceeded to talk shit to the Boston bench lol.

Went in their house on their day and put belt to ass. Not a perfect game but I saw some gritty basketball out there.

Hell of a way to bounce back. Early game. Early win. Even in the standings.

What’s not to love about the Jose Alvarado signing. He’s gonna light up GARDEN crazy. Que lo Que

And then locked the eff in. Special game to watch.
Knicks take a 7-point lead into the half over Boston behind Brunson’s offense and 10 points off the bench from Diawara.

Defense needs to pick it up still. Celtics made more 3s I. 2Q than 1Q but still too many open looks to good shooters by New York.

This. Imagine OG out there with Alvarado and Mitch. Man. Whewww
The Knicks held the Celtics to under 90 without OG Anunoby playing a single minute.

They really did flip the switch on defense.

Brown said going into the game he planned on playing Alvarado 22-23 minutes. He played 25.

“He gives us a different look because he’s so quick with the ball.”

Knicks absolutely needed this bounce back win today. Awesome debut from Alvarado. I am so excited to see this guy more as a Knick.

Once again, I couldn't keep my eyes away from Diawara though. This guy is going to be so good in a few years. And you see the flashes more and more when he gets minutes
