SEGA have some new third party IP agency doing the rounds, so if you have any Yakuza, Sonic etc merch in your Etsy and you've not been got yet, it's time to rename some listings.

The issue with parties like Labour in the UK and the Democrats in the US is that sincerity has been trained out in favour of managerial triangulation towards an imaginary median voter. What Mamdanis show is that voters don't really exist until a politician actively gives them something to vote for.
Such crude spectacles (ie. right-wing populism) can for sure be beaten by good ideas and sincerity. We saw that in NYC: integrity cuts through like nothing else. But I'm not sure that it can be beaten by standard approaches. We need ideas and *humanness*. Transparency. Emotion. Messiness, even.
