Was looking upon S5 on the Wiki and came across a draft called "James & Super E.D." that was written entirely by David Mitton - though it was scrapped b/c according to Britt Allcroft, she noted it was too unrealistic and has an abnormally over-the-top premise that comes to E.D. having super powers.

I don’t understand the complaints on Modern #SpongeBob, because if you see some of the episodes, you see that the characters have more emotions than being happy. Also there is no “meme face” in MS, just exaggerated expressions (like ren and stimpy) that help the JOKES THAT ARE TOLD BY THE CHARACTER!

Postman Pat: The Movie wasn't exactly a high point for the franchise. But i think i can speak for the fanbase when i say.... WE WE'RE ROBBED OF THE ORIGINAL CUT!!!

Seriously, the scrapped workprint from 2011 is SO MUCH better story wise then the final 2014 release we ended up with. #PostmanPat #BBC
