If he can hold out until January, then he may ride this out. Rep. Sherrill (D-NJ) has to resign to take over as Governor of New Jersey. If Johnson can hold the House out of session for that long, then Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) would be vote 217, at least until Sherril’s seat is filled.

That was a much needed goal to salvage a draw in a match where we seemed to be the better team for most of the match. Just very little creativity on offense. I miss Landon and Clint.

We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.

As long as guns are easily available to crazy people, mass killings directed at so-called soft targets will continue. This is a fact. Countries where it's more difficult for crazy people to obtain guns have less shootings. This is also a fact. Do with these facts as you will.

The issue is that Trump lies and cheats on everything, and so he naturally assumes that everyone else is doing the same thing. His statement is an indictment of what he would do in the same situation, namely “cook the books.” Also serves to justify that action when he gets the chance.
