Obviously there’ll need to be a full investigation—and there may be things we don’t know—but as a former criminal defense lawyer who worked homicide cases, my gut tells me this is Second-Degree Murder.

As with all things ICE, every encounter is mishandled.
Another angle of the video captures the ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the shooting in Minnesota was an act of domestic terrorism.

The🍊💩 likes to collective punish immigrant communities bc a few of them committed crimes. But remember what goes around comes around, especially when those ICE goons are directed by a racist leadership that expected brutality & specifically hide their face to do it.
This is the ICE agent who murdered a woman by shooting her multiple times in the face.

There is no legal justification, whatsoever, to use military force against a NATO ally like Greenland.

If any military member participates in this without congressional authorization, they are following illegal orders.

I doubt there will be any serious follow thru. It's likely meant to mask 🍊💩's insanity over world domination & distraction from Epstein files.

Literally everyone can rob a bank bc bank employees are directed not to resist.

I remember GWB and Colin Powell lying about Iraq. But this is just many times more insane.

My questions as reporter are: what do you think your boss' mental status is? Have you ever questioned about his mental health and your mental health? Do you think this is pretty insane for someone who supposedly promised no new wars?

Stephen Miller is the EASIEST person to wind up and make look like a fucking mental patient and frankly, reporters should do it daily. It ain't hard. If Tapper can do it, literally ANYONE can.
MILLER: The US is using its military to secure our interests unapologetically in our hemisphere. We're a superpower. It's absurd we'd allow a nation in our backyard to become a supplier of resources to our adversaries

TAPPER: Sovereign countries shouldn't be able to do what they want?

Europe has to make clear it will fight, literally, to defend Greenland. Not only will a US attack terminate NATO, trade and tourism, but it will also end Euro buys of US treasuries (and accelerate divestment). In short, economic catastrophe (yes, for both sides). No way taking Greenland compensates.

That 🍊💩 is not that different than some of guys I see at adult daycare. They are entitled to their opinions. We keep themselves safe from outside harm and keep the world safe from them. We failed to do that with 🍊💩.

The failure of our elites to hold Trump accountable for January 6th is as disgraceful as what happened on that awful day.

Since 2010, 35 democratic leaders around the world have been criminally convicted. Only Trump went unpunished and unconstrained.

Now he threatens democracy at home and abroad.

That's also the Axis' view of the world during WWII.

Since I work in transit, there's are also issues to consider like seniority, shifts, and the site where you report for duty. Commuter type service means split shifts but no weekend or holiday, regular shift may mean straight but also night, weekend, holiday, all tradeoffs in addition to pay.

For AC Transit, SM bridge couldn't compete w/ local service and Bay Bridge service for resource.
January 5, 2026 at 7:56 PM
That's what I suggested in the blog post.
January 5, 2026 at 7:53 PM
I agree that our current system is not good, but fixing it in large scale is very complex.

I see transit operation is kind of like a business. For GGT, they want to run RSR bridge service bc as an agency it has been shrinking bc of Marin Transit separating and COVID reducing GGB commuters.
January 5, 2026 at 7:52 PM
Dumbarton Express is the way it is bc it crosses 4 local transit jurisdictions. SM bridge is 2. But bc it is ran independently, there's no threat of diverting operating resource to local use. Drivers are hired specifically for the transbay job, not just one of many shifts they bid on.
January 5, 2026 at 7:44 PM
Have a single regional operator is a complex proposition. My concern is that a combined agency would be too focused on managing BART and forget everything else. SM bridge transit is an orphan and Dumbarton Express is in best position to run it.
January 5, 2026 at 7:40 PM
Of course there should be. I think it should be independently ran (SM and Dumbarton bridge buses be managed by the same group and operated by same contractor). If it's either SamTrans or AC Transit there will be question of local vs regional priority over operator resource. That's why both dropped.
January 5, 2026 at 7:18 PM
There's more private bus service on the SM Bridge now than public buses ever had when AC Transit was running the service.
