The absolute pain of recovering from abdominal surgery has made one thing clear. We do not give women enough credit for being strong and pain resistant, and the whole "women are weak and fragile" bullshit sucks.

Oh yeah, that's that good feeling of utter helplessness and despair that just seeps into your bones. I am crashing hard and as always it's flowing into the characters who live in my head. It's definitely time to put the pencil to the page and let this bleed out.

I'm feeling the urge to make artwork again. It's there scratching at the surface but it is refusing to fully emerge. I feel it is being weighed down by self imposed obligation to work on other hobbies like 40k.

It does such a good job of making you care about the residents and provide you with the drive to keep everyone alive and well in the face of disaster. It's Stardew with Stakes.
